Hot Rails for Tele

I want to put hot rails into my Mexican Telecaster my question is do you need to change out the pots since these are humbuckers to a 500K pot rather than the 250s or do you guys just stick with the 250k pots

welcome to the forum!

a buddy of mine has a hotrails bridge in both his teles. he runs with the stock 250k pots and is very happy with it. i would try it with the stock pots and see what you think. if you want more high end then you can swap the pots later, nice and easy on a tele too.
