Hot Rails installation

I'm putting a hotrails in the neck of an old 1989 Charvel that has a stock middle pickup, a Demon in the bridge, and the stock mid-boost.

I've wired the hotrails up and it sounds very weak. I thought it might have been out of phase so I rewired it and it still sounds weak.

Anybody have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Out of phase would have been my first guess too. Don't know, but figured I'd bump this up...
