Hot Rails with Suhr HSS wiring

I have a Standard Strat with Fat 50's. I love the neck and middle but hate the bridge. I like the option of having a humbucker in the bridge but do not like them with 250k pots. Been down that road before. I am looking at putting a hot rails in the bridge. I was thinking of going with the Suhr HSS wiring that uses a 500k volume pot, 250k tone pots and resistors to make the single coils see a 250k volume. It also uses a super switch to split the bridge for quack in the bride/middle position. Anyone have experience with this set up or something close?

Re: Hot Rails with Suhr HSS wiring

Has anyone had actual experience with the Hot Rails using 500K vs 250K pots? I hear a lot of opinions thrown around but have not heard anyone say they have used them with both pots.

Well, I have, and it is darker with 250k. Some people like that. It may work well for your guitar. For me, I needed 500k. But I think it is ear and guitar specific.
