We have a little giveaway open right now on Facebook for a guitarist to get their guitar "hot rodded" by some of our tone experts here at SD.

Basically, we will get your guitar, have a talk with you about exactly what kind of tone you want and well go to work getting it to sound that way with new pickguards, pots & even a new pickguard.

This giveaway is open US only since our partner ProAudioLand is a US based business. But we will have something up soon for the International folks.

I live in Canada, so can't participate, but good luck to those who can.

Also, Scott, you might want to mention to the person that setup the Facebook giveaway to include the rules, so people from other countries don't enter thinking they'll win. I know it means more "likes" if that's not in there, but I don't see SD as being the type of company that hides that sort of thing - evident from your own notes here - much appreciated. :headbang:

I just noticed that there's a checkbox that you have to check to say you agree with the official rules, but it's not a link, and I couldn't find one on the page.

heh heh - be sure to pick the one that wants a humbucker set that sounds like a real single coil when split, but does great thrash/doom/death, but doesn't have dark cleans in the neck or bright cleans in the bridge, and sounds just like Master of Puppets through a 30w BluesJr, so they'll finally understand that it's just not physically possible :p
