Hot Stack Plus????

I'm looking for a noiseless single-coil that has higher output that is somewhat comparable to a humbucker in output. My Les Pauls have C8's in the bridge and need something to compensate for the volume difference when I change guitars while gigging(have been considering a boost pedal of some sort, but they usually add a bit of gain). I thought a noiseless custom would do the job, but there is still not a noticeable difference . I would like to keep the single-coil vibe and I am considering a Hot Stack Plus Strat. Thoughts???

i have a hot stack + in the bridge of a strat and it is a great pup. its high output for a single coil and has a fat middy tone, it still sounds like a single coil but no one is going to mistake it for a vintage strat pup. youre probably never going to find a single coil size pup with the output of your c8 but the hot stack + will get you closer and still has some single coil characteristics

You've chosen the right pickup.

If you want to try your pedal idea you can use an Xotic FX EP Booster, A Keeley Katana or a ZVex Super Hard-on for clean clear volume boost/ compensation with no gain added.

Thanks for the suggestions all! I was disappointed with the custom stk and was a bit reluctant to try the Hot Stk. If the stk doesn't do it, I will try a single coil sized humbucker(Lil JB) or a pedal as suggested.
