Hotrail vs Lil killer GFS

I'm going to be ordering one of these pickups in the next day or 2 and I need to know which one will best fit my style and guitar. It's going into a MIM 50th (1996) Sing coil stratocaster. I play lots of punk/hardcore/thrash/metal stuff.....the chug chug sound. The hot rail seems like a solid choice but the GFS lil killer is a quarter of the price.

It's been a long time since i fired up my hotrails. It does a good job at "crunching", iirc. I don't know what the other one sounds like, but hell, at a quarter of the price I'm gonna check it out! Do they have white ones?

Yep, they have white, cream and black. Seems like a killer deal (pun intended)

For chug in a single coil slot this would be my suggestion also. The hotrails always seems like its very hot but doesnt hit the amp right to really make it crunch its just loud.

Try the GFS first but be on the lookout for a Fastrack II.
