Depends on what style of music you play. I've never like the hot rails personally but it works well for some styles.

the JBJR is a ****ing Metal pickup, also awesome cleans
grinding Mids, awesome sweet highs and and heavy Mid tight BASS
a good output too.
i not tested the hotrails myself yet
i have one but not installed .
