Hotrails neck pickup question

Hi all - my first post

I have an American Standard Strat with a hotrails in the bridge position.

I totally love it.
Clean or dirty I don't use the other pickups at all anymore.

So I am getting ready to get another hotrails for my neck position.
Does this seem the right choice for me considering how much I like the bridge pickup?

What is the difference in sound going to be for me when I switch up to the neck?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like it's a perfect choice, yes. A Hot Rails in the neck and bridge, with your usual single coil in the middle will allow for some very good tones.

Re: Hotrails neck pickup question

I recently installed a Hot Rails neck pu in my all maple Carvin Dc 127T to compliment the JB I had installed in the bridge a few months ago.

It's thick and creamy and splits well. The HR should be a good match for The HR bridge you may have to tinker with the height so it doesn't overpower the bridge.

I also have the Hotrails(n)/JB(b) combo in one of my guitars & quite like it but i do feel for lead playing i prefer the Hotrails when i switch on my EMG PA-2 preamp but it's still a killer pickup.
