Hotrails shr1n in bridge position?

Anyone tried it?I think outputwise it would be at about medium.Since it's a warm/dark sounding pickup,what should I expect in the bridge position of a balanced sounding swamp ash body/one piece maple neck strat?Music style is rock and hard rock in general,60's to 90's.
