so i started a build of a metal neck
a banana fore the explosion
the neck is still in progress so what do you think
and don't start with the Travis-Bean necks this is complete different

i gonna put a wooden fingerboard on it
here is another one i have try to build
it is not heavy-er than a regular wooden neck
neck are just prototypes so not tested yet
they are all tested about warping, bending, cold, hot and it stay straight
so no trusrod needed
this neck is gonna get another fingerboard and then it will hit a guitar
i think that it gives a lot of sustain (not that i need more on my guitars )
i just started to make them because some people say that i can not make it
now i will show them
it is not easy to make one because they are hollow sheet steel and complete build by hand so no machine hit the necks

^^^ nice! Did you design this for at least some relief? Some players think (and they are correct) that in order to have a uniform action height, at least some neck relief is needed. Otherwise the height increases annoying as we move to the right-most register of the fretboard.
