How do the Soundclick charts work?

I never knew about these things, then yesterday I noticed a blurb that said the 2000 Man song I posted was at #37 in the classic rock chart, and today it's at #25 (#295 overall in rock). How does a song get on the charts, and what moves it up and down?

When you listen to a song - you get a chance to vote - yay or nay. I assume they accumulate these votes.

Listens count as one ... nays delete the listen ... yahs add one more vote. Once a user listens it won't count again for multiple listens. It's pretty easy to get high in the charts for a short period of time if you post links on a couple os sites. The first 24 hours it shows up as new ... a lot of people seem to listen to new. But since there are so many songs it can drop quickly.

Haha, good, because I was amazed to see that something I posted was #1 on the Alternative charts one time (Only posted here) - I guess more of you listened than I thought!
