Anyhow...If it's a duplicate post, sorry -

Well, referring to my original post (Looking For SD Pickup ideas ) and combining it with my (Hum Bucker in a Single-Coil Slot?) post, do you all think that this setup would hit the mark?

HSH

H (Bridge)=JB
S=JB Jr.
H (Neck)= Jazz

Why do you need the JB Jr in the mid pos?

Well, I don't, really - I had posted a question in another post asking if there were any advantages to using something like a JB jr in the S of an HSH config. Don't know if it would be cool or not - your thoughts?

It allows for more wiring possibilities but it won't make the guitar more versatile necesarily since you already have a JB in the bridge. I would go with a single in the middle since you already have 2 hums but thats just me..

A Single Coil would give you more versatility because of giving you the ablility of picking a "real" strat tone...
