laugh all you want, but the only time i use a delay pedal is when i play a solo when we cover a pink floyd song

that's nothing to laugh at... Too many players over use delay effects... i was getting in trouble from some of my former band mates years ago that i was using too much delay.. they used to chew my butt that i used it almost every solo and the ending of most of our tunes... i'm still not sure why they objected to it.. everyone but the other band members said they liked it...

these days i use Delay the same way... not on all the time... i tap it on for short sections here and there

I currently use the Echo Park to do tap tempo-d Gilmour-like echoes. Some of my parts call for that type of sound. It's lots of fun, but I probably only use it maybe 10% of the time.

I've got an m13 coming soon though, and I imagine I'll find a few more uses for delay with that thing.
