How does a Duesenberg 59er sound?

Hi there,
I never had the chance to try a Duesenberg 59er, and online you can find very scarce informations. I wonder if someone could tell me how this guitar sounds. I guess it's quite different from - let's say - a Les Paul, having the "Fender" scale lenght and the thin, chambered body. Or am I wrong?

What other guitars could you compare the 59er to, to make me understand (more or less) how it sounds? Thanks a lot.

The longer scale length will make it brighter and twangier than a Gibson. Think of how a Strat sounds with humbuckers.

The lighter body will effect the tone too... Probably a bit warmer, if you think of a heavy guitar compared to something like basswood.

I don't own a Duesenberg, but I do own an Epi nighthawk. Even though the woods are the same as on a LP and it has a set neck, it's twangier and has tighter lows. I have SM-1's at the neck position of both guitars and I can hear more chime from the nighthawk than the LP, while the LP does a better woman tone with the same pickup.

I think ablot of this has to do with the LP using a 24.75" scale and the Nighthawk using a 25.5" scale. The chambered body on the Duesenberg might give it more low end warmth, but that'll depend on how and where (on the body) its chambered.
