How good are the TC Electronic Nova Repeaters

Re: How good are the TC Electronic Nova Repeaters

They're pretty good. I have one, and it can produce some really nice, lush, warm delay tones. Also has vibrato and chorus which can be dialed in, and although they aren't customizable at all aside from the level/mix, they too sound quite nice. It can operate at either line level or instrument level (has different input jacks for each)

really the only problem I have with it is that it cannot run off a daisy chained 9V power supply without adding some noise (specifically the noise of the tempo indicator LED blinking on and off) to the signal chain.

I haven't tried it with an isolated power supply unit like a PedalPower or a DC Brick, but it might fare better with those.

Otherwise, it's a simple to use, very good sounding unit.

I have one and like it a lot. It is very versatile. I slightly prefer the tone on the Vox Time Machine, but the TC is my 2nd fav of my 4 digital delays. For $90, it would be awful hard to beat. I paid $175 for mine & still think it's worth it.

Thanks guys. I picked it up with a Korg Pitchblack, both with power supply, and a Roland PCS 20A Daisy-Chain Power Lead for $150. I appreciate your help. I haven't got to try it out yet.

Don't think twice about it, especially if it's for $90. I had one for a while. I would love to get one again.

I got it for holiday sale few months back for 120$ new at zzounds. Unfortunately I still haven't had a chance to try it :(
