How good are these Avatar cabs??

Any feedback from people who has used them? Better yet would you run a Bogner head through an Avatar cab, or would you prefer running it through a Bogner cab?

Avatar cabs are awesome, You get a well made cab at prices that are in everyones budget.
I have a 4x12 Slant cab and a buddy of mine just got a 4x10 Bass cab and loves it.
Would I put a Bogner through it....Yes. I used a Mesa Single Recto and a Marshall DSL50 through mine!

I use a 2x12H cab and push it with several amps but mostly my XXX. I like it alot, it is well made and doesn't rattle. Real solid, good projection and it has good handles to carry it as well.

Love mine with my Plexi. All my tunes have been recorded through my Avatar 2/12 with Eminence GB12 speakers. I stuff my cabs with insulation, but the cabs are rock solid. Dave is good people as well. I have bought quite a few things from him over the last couple years.

Very good. I just got a 4x12 slant with 2 GB12's on top and 2 V12's on the bottom. I wish I got 4 GB12's but oh well, it still sounds killer for $310. They're killer cabs, you may not like the metal grille but you can buy tolex for like $30. Good, solid, and quality cabs.

Well, for the price I was consideing a 4x12 w/ GB closed back. But I've never try them before so I don't have any idea how would it sound with my Voodoo V-plex 100w.

I have an Eminence m12/v12 loaded G212 (carpet/metal grill) and a Celestion V30/G12H loaded G212H (black/wheat) and they both rock. The G212H is the better of the two cabs IMO. Its a big box, only about 8" shorter than a standard 4x12. Excellent bass response with a great open sound to it. I couldn't be happier with both of them. Fast shipping (same day for me), great prices and fantastic service.

I've got the horizontal 2X12 Avatar cabinet loaded with V30's and the interchangeable closed and open back panel. I push my Soldano thru this cabinet and couldn't be happier with it.

As stated by Kevlar, Dave is good people and very helpful. I believe you get just as good as a product that's much more affordable since it doesn't have the corporate logo on the front of it.

Cabs make very big difference in sound...
I'm interested. The best cab i played was a Mesa 4x12 Rectfier Std. Does someone compared a Avatar to a Mesa?
The cabs are really cheap.
But they aren't available iin Europe. I'd like to test this cabs. I'm not satisfied with the Marshall 1960A.

I think the 4x12 avatars are darn nearly exactly the same size as most Marshall 4x12's I've seen.

Load it up with greenbacks and you're set!

I have one of hte 2x12 blackcarpet/metalgrille ones that I'm selling to spoonman. Nice cab, great quality construction.

thanks Scott, I asked about this cabs on HC and the majority had nothing to say but positive comments about it. Although some mentioned that the wood used on Avatar cabs are a bit thin compared to Marshall cabs, so the complaint was the lost of bottom end and the sound was a bit more bright?
