How is the split tone of Custom5 and Jazz combo?

can anyone help this brother out?
i can tell you that i like my C5 split by itself very much ... but i've never run it with a jazz ... i have split it (parallel outers and inners) with a 59 and like it very much indeed .. i cant directly compare it to a strat because to my ears a real strat single coil sounds different than a split HB ... all i can tell you is that the overall effect of splitting them gives me a very usable 'strat-esque' tone to my ears
