How many of you use a humbucker on the neck of your Telecaster?

I think the Telecaster with a humbucker on the neck is about the greatest guitar configuration available. I use a JB in the neck of mine, I like the high output available when I need it. What kind of set up do you have?

John 5 signature squire tele with dimarzio d'activators. Amazing neck humbucker, both clean and distorted.

ESP LTD TE-212 with ABR brass bridge, GraphTech nut and Planet Waves Trim-lock tuners.

Hot Tele Stack in the bridge and an A2Pro neck. Individual switches for each pickup to be wired in series/parallel/split operation. 3-way LP pickup selector. Ah, when split the pickups are wired to the pots as 250k, and 500k when in series or parallel.

My guitar for ultimate versatility. Goes from Country to Death Metal.

Thanks. The feel is actually quite different from regular Teles, mainly because the neck is way slimmer and the radius is a bit flat. Still confortable, although it has jumbo frets which not everyone likes.

But the sounds I get from it are, to my ears, quite different and yet all usable. My tech was a bit suprised when I told him want I wanted, but even more surprised with the results!

My favorite is a Seth Lover there. Really beautiful tone out of a Tele- I never have to leave the neck position.

Yup, 72 Tele Thinline, Tele Custom, 2 Tele FMT's, the rest have SD stacked 'buckers in the neck...

Mine has an antiquity neck paired with a río muy grande bridge and im very happy with the result

See, I love the sound of a 'regular' tele neck, it's the bridge that needs a HB imo.

BTW, stan, a couple of those weren't HBs.

Yeah I know that they weren't all humbuckers but they weren't those little chrome things that look like they belong in a bathroom.

I've been debating putting an Antiquity in the neck of my 52RI for like 5 years... But I don't want to route it.

I had. In fact I have used many kind of pickup model in the neck postion of my tele. What I like most is P-90 though. Second favorite is Jazzmaster pickup.

I love the Mini Hum in the neck spot of my Tele.

I experimented with many different pups before I landed on this setup. Now I wanna get something else for the bridge on this guitar...
