Are you buying or selling??? If your buying as little as possible but if your intention is to sell, then clean it up, test it out and then perhaps post some pics for us to have a look at...

Pictures would make helping you out much easier because its extremely difficult to "appraise" vintage guitars sight unseen. Just going off of what you said I'd value it anywhere between $700-$2,500 because there's a lot of variables that come into play with a guitar like that...
