How thick strings should I use when tuning to D?

How thick strings should I use when tuning to D using floyd? The whole guitar. Not just drop D. I want to get the same presure as my .009 give with normal E-tuning, so I don't have to **** around with springs, or ajusting to much.

Is 010 enough or do I need a even thicker sett? Thicker means tigher

The reason for this quiestion is that if I don't find the necro black metal feeling(I'm soon there :laugh2: ), my band probely will continiue playing playing more Death metal, who I for some reason find much eazyer to make, even though I almost don't listen to it. :duh:
Well... Death metal sounds better if it is a litle more heavy. Drop D is an option, but makes trouble playing covers.

10's would be alright, but why not the 11's and play it safe?

I like 10-52 in D. A little slinky, but it's all good.

I play my Schecter D-tuned with .011's and they bend just fine. But that guitar has jumbo fretwires, too.
