Hi-Yi
Here's an interesting one for ya.
I'm building a cigar box guitar and I picked up a really cool analog VU meter with a nice Steampunk vibe. It would be really nice if it could be made to flicker enthusiastically - accuracy not required.
For various reasons, this ain't gonna work as a VU meter in a guitar, but I was wondering if there is any possible way we could fool this meter into believing it was reborn as an AC voltmeter and simply drive it with the output from a Hot Rails please? Like I said - flickering enthusiasm preferred over any semblance of accuracy.
Why don't I just get a steampunk AC voltmeter with a scale from 0-1 volt you say? Can't find one. At least, not one under 85 bucks. And I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff.
Thanks
Phil
