How to clean Nickle Plated pups?

How would I clean them? They seem to have some humidity stains (I don't know what it is). Should I clean them with windex or something?

Brasso metal polish... you can buy it at Home Depot... it is also the best thing for removing the logo from pickups...

I just put a little dab of toothpaste on a cotton rag and keep wiping the nickel till it turns shiny as new again.

I've never kept covered pickups in a guitar very long or the covers on for them to get that dirty. Besides, I wipe down my guitars pretty often. Light wipedown after practice while packing up, then a good cleaning after getting home. The Brobucker is keeping it's cover for the foreseeable future so this is good info.
