How to fix a crack...

Jomo's Nimions
I've got a Charvel strat knock-off. The crack starts (if you're looking at the back of the guitar) on the left, bottom most corner of the neck pocket, and runs to the tremelo cavity. The guitar appears and feels structurally sound, but I'd like to reinforce it somehow. It's pretty banged up, so aesthetics are a total non-issue. I'm thinking I may drill a hole to stop the crack from going any further, then attach a metal plate, perhaps a neck plate, to prevent any further stress on the crack.

Anybody have a better idea?

Re: How to fix a crack...

If you can pull the crack open, it's something you can shoot some glue into.

If not, leave it alone. Just like the real world. LOL

Re: How to fix a crack...

I wouldn't worry about it I have an older Charvel with nasty looking cracks, I still play it aggressively, been waiting years for it to blow up in my hands, but nothing yet. It's still going strong. I'm actually kind of disappointed.

How to fix crack:

The only item you will need that you cant find in stores is cocaine. All the others you can find at any grocery store. The best way to get cocaine, if you don't have a dealer, is to talk to a hooker. They have the hook up.

Items needed:
1.Cocaine
2.Baking Soda
3.Crack Pipe
4.Lighter

Crack Rock - Crack Slab - Crack Cookie - Crack Cocaine
The Process: (How to Cook it Up)
Crack is usually made by mixing two parts of cocaine with one part baking soda in about a tablespoon of water. The solution is then heated gently until white precipitates form. Heating is halted when precipitation stops. The precipitate is filtered and retained. The precipitate may then be washed with water; this procedure is usually omitted in the street product. The product may then be dried for 24 hours under a heat-lamp. Crack is then cut or broken into small 'rocks' weighing a few tenths of a gram.

How to make fake crack:
Well this **** will get you shot if you try to sell it! It can be a great laugh though to watch a strung out chickenhead scramble in the gutter to get a piece of it you toss to them.

Items needed:
1.Bees Wax
2.Baking Soda
3.A Good Eye for color and texture

The Process:

Melt bees wax add baking soda until texture and color are a good match for the real thing

Let mix cool chop it up and rough it up a bit with a file or sand paper to add more texture.

Enjoy!
