how to magnetize an alnico magnet ?

recently received a batch of alnicos to start mag swapping but they don,t appear to be magnetized. how would i go about doing this?

Talk to Seymour Duncan. They have the Dunager machine that can magnetize/demagnetize magnets.

You can use those little neodymium magnets used for repairing, available from Stew Mac, to charge your alnico bars.

That was very interesting. How do you keep the wires wound evenly using a homemade setup like with the drill?
