How to relate SD pups output level to DiMarzio's

If I recall correctly, it was sometime ago when SD published output rating of their pickups. Although it might not be very accurate, it's still something quite convenient to have.

So I would like to ask, although it's very subjective, that what DiMarzio models you think have comparable output level with popular SDs like JB, Custom, C5, and others? I'm especially interested in comparison with C5. Thanks.

I'd say the custom five is close in output to the Norton...

The Air Zone hits my preamps about as hard as the Duncan Distortion.

The Super Distortion is close to the Custom, IMHO.

This result is interesting. According to DiMarzio, Super Distortion is supposed to be higher output than Air Zone. So I guess there's more to the perceived output level than just the measured stat.
