How to wire: 2 humbuckers 1 push pull

Hey Guys,

I have a Washburn N4, and it has two humbuckers, a 3 way switch and a volume control.

Can I possibly take out the volume control, put in a push pull to split the neck pickup between a single coil and a humbucker, and be able to use the pot to change the volume, and use the 3 way switch to select pickups?

It is a 59' in the neck and a Bill Lawrence X500L in the Bridge.

If you only want to split one humbucker, just omit the red/white wires from the switch for that pup. But do remember that the red and white still have to connect together.
