I out A8 into my JB. I posted in other threads about it. Basically I am missing some musical overtones that A2 and A8 have, but in the case of the JB A5 doesn't sound good to me here either. The JB8 has a kind of "hollow" sound that some people would like. The Alternative 8 has even heavier coils, I guess that comes out better.

id be kinda curious to trythe jazz with A8, i have one coming in my LP but i have no idea about anything to do with the constructon of pus nor changing magnets so i wouldnt feel comfortable doing it really

Oh. I misread the thread title as "JB", not "JazzB".

In my Jazz neck the A8 sounds "core"y.

I'd say it has a growl to it. I didn't do too much with it yet. Not as bad as I thought.
