how does it compare to other high gain tube amps
i need a affordable amp head that can go very loud... id be using it as a backup and sometimes gigging along with rehearsals and such, i like the fact that its solid state because its pretty much maintenance free however it doesnt sound as good as a tube amp, alot of people however say it really sounds great...

i play loads of metal, (thrash, groove, heavy and metalcore) i wouldnt use clean channel too much but i will sometimes

you should read the reviews on the orange forum

they conclude it is really good for solid state, and it is cheap

We got a CR60 at my store recently... It sounds great. I'm sure the 120 will do what you need.

how does it compare to a marshall 6100 which is wat i currently have, im somwat a beginner guitar, and i dont have too much money, the marshall is my dads but he doesnt play anymore so i use it for recording, but i want a amp thats good for gigging... the reason i dont bring my marshall is cuz i dont want it stollen, its somewhat special to me and my and dad

I bet it would be more special to yall if you constantly played and gigged it like a blues musician's worn out stratocaster, did you talk with your dad about that?

hes gigged with it for years and the musician who owned it before him gigged with it too, he stopped gigging with it after some dude stole like 10 pedals of his onstage, anyway i was gonna just keep it in the studio... i wanted a cheaper amp that still sounds really amazing for gigs and stuff

if I needed super cheap new high wattage amp with that voicing, that is the amp I would get!

for me though, I would definitely get something else. I prefer tube. or kemper profiling amp.

yea but im somewhat of a budget, love that british voicing... and it sounds alot like a tube rockerverb... so i think will thanks!

I'm planning on getting this instead of using my Jim root. I'm playing out now yay. Need more power. If I get famous lol I'll get a rockerverb
