HR in strat bridge but want hot strat neck pup

I have a strat with a HR in bridge. In the neck though I want a beefy thick strat pup. In the mid I would like a clean strat sounding pup.

Bridge HR - rock/Metal
Neck: ? Think SRV but on roids.
Mid: clean strat sound.

Used to have a lil 59 in neck which was nice but definitely lacked he strat tone.

If you can live with vintage style single coils, how about an Antiquity I Texas Hot for the neck and Antiquity II Surf for the middle? The Ant I has alot of mids and the Ant II has the vintage '62 style SRV tone...although I don't think SRV used the "middle pickup only" setting very often. Lew

thanks Lew they got to be silent no hum coils. I don't know if they would be pwerful enough with Hot Rail in bridge.

I think you are wanting a cool rails.

What do the cool rails sound like in the neck? Do they still retain a strat vibe?

To a certain extent they do. Definitely not like a single coil but it has something like a strat.

Can get glassy.

Is that what you're refering to?then it'll work.
