HS Active pickup advice

Hey guys, I need a little help here: I'm building a monster (or trying to), I'm modding my old Fernandes Ravelle with a sustainer system and since it's already running on 9v I'll put a fishman battery pack and I was thinking on getting an active bridge humbucker and a single to match the sustainer driver. I'm a rhythm player mostly and I range from metal to ambient post-rock proggy stuff. I might as well consider passives. Any suggestions?

seemed to work for Prince. :fing2:


go with the 81TW, 89 or 89R for even more variety for the bridge and in-between settings.

I'm down with the SA, seems to fit my needs. I'm also familiar with the 81/85 combo, had them in 3 guitars and I ended up swapping them for Duncans. Have you tried the 57? I'm actually curious about that one.
