HSH Megaswitch-E wiring ques.

Got my superstrat wired up over the weekend, JB/SSL-2/Jazz combo with Megaswitch E, overall pretty happy with the tones, but there are a couple things kinda off... i'm getting the wrong coil of Jazz neck in pos. 2 & 3, and i'm getting hum in pos. 2 & 4. Is it as simple as swapping the green & black of the Jazz, and flipping the white & black of the SSL-2? The SSL-2 is RW/RP. The Jazz is oriented correctly according to top view, but the bottom view is kinda backward, if that matters at all. Any thoughts?

Re: HSH Megaswitch-E wiring ques.

Swapping the green and black conductors of the SD Jazz pickup will reverse its electrical phase and split to the screw coil.

If the neck + centre selection is still not hum-cancelling, your options are to flip the magnet in the humbucker and/or reverse the order of the output conductors of each coil. (Black and green will be linked. Red and white serve as output and ground.)

Re: HSH Megaswitch-E wiring ques.

Tried flipping the green & black of the JazzN last night... ended up with both outer coils active in pos 3, but out of phase with each other. Went back to original wiring. I suppose I could reverse both HBs to cancel hum in pos. 2 & 4, but i may just grab a non-rwrp SSL2 for the middle.
