Hello! I'm a long time lurker and new member, and I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I have an American Deluxe Stratocaster that has been modded to HSH. When I changed the pickup configuration I gave up the S-1 switching and find that I do miss having access to the single coil tones. So I want to put the S-1 function back. Now, I have a pretty good idea of what I'd like, but don't know much about designing wiring schematics. So I could really use some help.
This article from Premier Guitar is really close except for 2 things. First, I want to retain the standard strat configuration of master volume and two tones, so it's short a tone control. Second, and this is more or less just personal preference, I would want to have the single coil mode activated when the switch is in the down position (opposite of the article). I should note that this particular guitar is actually equipped with Dimarzios. The body for this guitar is currently being refinished, so the time is ripe to go ahead and work on the electronics before I rebuild the guitar. If anyone has any guidance or a diagram that will help me achieve the setup I'm pursuing I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks! -Michael
