Hey folks, seeking your advice / opinion. I have a beautiful HSH Warmoth Partscaster that I'm working on but am not sure the best pot/capacitor values to go with. I have a Seymour Duncan Jazz (SH-2N) in the Neck and a Duncan JB Trembucker (TB-4) JB in the bridge. Currenly I also have a standard strat (GFS) single coil pickup in the middle though I'm open to something else (Duncan Duckbucker?) there. My question concerns the pot and capacitor values as well as the wiring configuration. I can't seem to get a definitive answer on whether these specific pickups want to see 500k or 250k pots and similarly, which capacitor value(s) are ideal...I have 1 Vol, 2 Tones currently. Lastly I want the ability to coil split the humbuckers, and also get a Neck+bridge combination in both humbucker and split modes. It seems that the Megaswitch E+ and a single push/pull can achieve this.
Separately, my brother just built a parts caster and used the everything AXE set + the 920D wiring kit https://920dcustom.com/products/seymour-duncan-everything-axe-jb-jr-duckbucker-little-59-loaded-strat-pickguard which yielded incredible results. Understanding that while they're single coil sized, they seem to be HSH in functionality, I'm wondering how best to achieve similar results in my HSH set up. Perhaps using a duck bucker in the middle and push pulls instead of two separate toggles?
