I've got an alder bodied super strat with a maple neck and an EVH Wolfgang pickup in the bridge. What Duncan single coils would you put in the middle/neck and why?
I've tried some of the noiseless Dimarzios and never found one to my liking. Switched to a set of Klein S-5's I had, but of course the output difference isn't ideal. The Klein's are cool, but I'd like something a little meatier and a little rounder in the highs, along with the higher output to match the bridge. I'd like to stick with traditional single coil (non-noiseless). Thanks!
