I'm currently looking for a Humbucker for the bridge position in my Yamaha Pacifica. The middle position is a Suhr Michael Landau Standard Middle and the neck position is a Suhr Michael Landau Classic Neck. Would you suggest a Seymour Duncan Sentient for the bridge position? If not what would you suggest?

Well, the Sentient is pretty modern sounding, so it would depend on what you are looking for from a bridge pickup. So like, ^he^ asked, what kind of music, and what are you hoping to achieve? What don't you like about what is in there now? Those singles are pretty single-coily sounding singles, so are you looking for classic or modern sounds here?

Maybe you should start playing funk and classical music too. It's too easy with your limited musical styles right now
I would go for something more versatile in the bridge like the hybrid 59/custom.

Anyways before that happens, getting back on topic, suhr aldrich bucker gets mentioned much online, I'd look into it. Next from dimarzio, the illumininator or transition bridge might work. From duncan side, I liked the sh5 custom for classic metal.

what are your dislikes about the pickups you have?
the JB sure works well with the 250k pots in typical HSS setups. i have an A2P HB in my HSS 250k potted pacifica and i like it but the HB lacks the treble/clarity that my other 500k and 300k HB guitars have.
i have never found a better HB than the JB for versatility/range especially when using the guitar volume to clean up by turning down. most other pickups lose tone/soul when turning down the guitar volume.

Put a Suhr Thornbucker in it (the regular one, not plus). Its versatile enough to cover all styles and the level will match better with the other Suhr pickups you have.

The 59/Custom Hybrid is really the ultimate classic/modern hybrid pickup. It would sound great split, too.
