Hey guys,

So I'm pretty new to wiring (also the forum); I've changed out pots and switches etc. before, but as far as wiring a guitar from scratch, I'm more or less clueless. I have an HSS Strat I need to wire with a 5-way switch with 7-way mod (on/off mini toggle) AND momentary killswitch. I don't plan on coil-splitting or anything fancy, although it is a 4-conductor pickup (TB-4). Is there any way anyone could provide a diagram or step-by-step for such a project? Much appreciated

Welcome to the forum!

What are the other 2 pickups? If they are stock Fenders, the Duncan will be out of phase, so you have to reverse the hot & ground on the Duncan. Does the mini toggle turn on a pickup at a position that doesn't normally include it?

Thanks Mincer! Yes, the other 2 are stock MIM ceramics, so good to know! And yes, I suppose I should've specified; the 7-way mod is the typical "add neck" mod that I've seen a lot of people use, and I know some companies sell pre-wired pickguards with this wiring, but I would rather not spend $250+ for a cheap pickguard with ok wiring haha. The killswitch is just a simple momentary button switch.
