HSS Superstrat pickups, PATB1 & ????

depravity

I am working on getting some new pickups for my Fender Prodigy. I just received a PATB-1 for the bridge that I am really digging (thanks again, Garrett) and I need some singles for the neck and middle. Can someone offer suggestions to pair with the PATB?

My guitar has a 25.5" inch scale, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, alder (?) body and a Floyd-style double locking bridge.

I use the bridge 80-90% of the time and I play mainly rock, punk and metal. I would like to use the neck to get good singing type leads and rich cleans. I would mainly use the mid pickup for a more snappy, bright-ish single coil clean sound and I don't usually use it for dirty sounds. In between sounds don't matter so much for this guitar. Also, I am not against using single sized humbuckers.

Sorry for the long post, any suggestions? Are the PATB single coils any good?

Cant' comment on the PATB SCs but I've only heard good things about the Classic Stack Plus, many golden ears agree that it's the closest thing to a true (vintage?) single coil tone but without the hum...

I also haven't heard much about the PA singles but if you search around you'll find a couple of extensive reviews.

Are you lookinn' for a SC sound or humbucker sounds ,since the PA STK is hum cancelling!
If yes ,try it!
And glad that you dig the PATB1...That thing is soooooooooooooooo underrated! One of the best PUs ever!
