HSS wiring question

Just finished wiring up a mongrel strat w/ two Fralin single coils (neck and RWRP middle) w/ a Duncan '59 in the bridge. No coil split on the 59. Everything sounds great except for position 2 (bridge/middle). It's very bright and nasally sounding. Is that a phase issue and if so, what can I do to solve it? Thanks,
Greg

Re: HSS wiring question

just wanted to add that the 59 is the single conductor version. Am I screwed? Can I flip a PU around? Or maybe a magnet? Am I SOL?

Re: HSS wiring question

Yeah, you can either flip the mag on the 59, or reverse the hot and ground on both Fralin's. But you may not want to do that if the Fralin's have a baseplate. If they don't, shouldn't be a problem.

Re: HSS wiring question

Thanks ArtieToo! I reversed the wires on the Fralin's and that did the trick! You rock!

Re: HSS wiring question

No . . . if you have a 59 and two Fralins . . . you rock! :D

Glad it worked out.
