In a Strat with a Lil Screamin Demon in the bridge and Quarter Pound RW/RP in middle and Quarter Pound in the neck, will the Demon need to be split for hum-cancelling when combined with the middle pickup?
Yes, you would but I'm not sure which coil you'd need to split to. I think the standard black/white coil will hum cancel, and if that doesn't work the red/green coil will.
So if I don't split the Demon, then it will just be full Demon with the middle single together, but will that sound better and more balanced than having the Demon split with it?
