Humbucker advice

Hey guys. How would a Dimarzio D-activator neck and a Duncan Distortion bridge sound? I need to be able to get nice crunchy metal rhythm and lead/solo stuff. Also I want nice solid cleans and I'll be coil splitting at least the neck. Also I'll be playing indie rock type stuff. Hardtail/tune-o-matic bridge, walnut body, 24 fret rosewood fretboard/maple neck. Thanks for your help.

Re: Humbucker advice

The D-Activator neck is one of the clearest tightest neck pickups I've ever played.
The Distortion is fantastic in the bridge for crunchy tight metal.
I don't even think you would need to split the D-Activator.

Alright, in that case, if I was gonna split one of the pickups to get more strat/tele type tones, which one should I split?
