I want to get a humbucker for the bridge of my strat, and i plan on getting a h/s/s pick guard when i get a humbucker. I need help choiisng the best humbucker for what i do, i need one for metalish-medolic stuff like the used, but with more metal sound. I think i might want one from either seymour duncan or dimarzio.

No not all EMG's are active... But i havent heard any of the passives that I really like... There are actually alot of pickups in the Seymour lineup that could get you where you want to go... A pickup is one link in a long chain... My first choice would be the Custom then probably the Distortion...
