Humbucker in a Esquire

First, on my prior thread, If I have offended anyone because of my lack of knowledge or technical savvy, please let me be the first to excuse my inept ability to explain my self. I have a Humbucker that just has a shield and a hot wire, I am finishing up a esquire and would like to use this pickup and would like to utilize the 3 way switch. I would like to use the standard esquire wiring diagram. No reason why it should not work, right ?

like i said in your last thread, you didnt offend anyone. i dont have a schematic for the specific wiring scheme i mentioned in the thread, and maybe no one else does either. you can absolutely wire your humbucker using the std esquire wiring diagram.
