Actually, you should get the trembucker, if your strat has a tremelo. It's not a necessity, but the pole pieces won't line up with the strings if you get a regular spaced humbucker. This is all assuming it's for the bridge position. If it's for the neck position, get a regular spaced humbucker.

Sorry gianniboy, you're halfway right. Trembuckers are for wider spacing such as Fenders with trems. Floyd Rose trems and other licensed copies just happen to fall in to that category as well.
Standard spacing = narrow (Gibson, Epi, other fixed bridges)
Trembuckers (or F-Spaced in DiMarzio land) = wide (Floyd Rose and Fender type tremolo bridges)

If I remember correctly, the standard strats have a closer string spacing than the regular vintage strat tremolo. I don't know which style to fits but I don't think it would hurt to ask someone from the company.

Heh - well not too bad. The alignment with a tremspaced C5 isn't bad, but better yet, I bought a Hipshot bridge for this thing a few months ago. I just gotta get busy and install it. The Hipshot will convert it to a string-through, so its a bit of a project.

If you're specifically buying a humbucker for a Fender or Floyd guitar, the Tremspaced is the one to buy. On the other hand, regular spaced humbuckers will work fine in most of those guitars too, although the strings will be above the outer edges of the poles.
I do a fair amount of pickup swapping, and made a decision to only use nickel humbuckers from now on. That means I just buy regular spaced nickel hums, and use them on whatever guitar I want. If you already own the pickup you're going to use, just use it. If it's a specific purchase, the trem version is more ideal.

Guys actually I was wondering about how trembucker do provide the spacing for my fender strat, but the poles don't line up exact right. Its off by a little or by the side of the poles. Could this be a problem with having incorrectly placed bridge or something I could fix by getting new saddles. Maybe it's the nut.
