For my Fender Standard strat?? I'm getting a Custom for it soon and just want to make sure, thanks.
tbepopples If I remember correctly, the standard strats have a closer string spacing than the regular vintage strat tremolo.
ErikH said:Trembuckers are for wider spacing such as Fenders with trems. Floyd Rose trems and other licensed copies just happen to fall in to that category as well.
Standard spacing = narrow (Gibson, Epi, other fixed bridges)
Trembuckers (or F-Spaced in DiMarzio land) = wide (Floyd Rose and Fender type tremolo bridges)
That's gotta suck, Artie.ArtieToo said:And then you have the "oddballs", like my Patriot. Its a hardtail - with a 56mm E to E spacing. Much wider than a tremolo. :yell:

Good luck with that and show some finished pics.ArtieToo said:Heh - well not too bad. The alignment with a tremspaced C5 isn't bad, but better yet, I bought a Hipshot bridge for this thing a few months ago. I just gotta get busy and install it. The Hipshot will convert it to a string-through, so its a bit of a project.
