humbucker suggestions to accompany a neck Jazzmaster pick-up

I'm looking for a humbucker for the bridge position. This is to accompany a Jazzmaster style pick-up in the neck position.

The Jazzmaster neck pick-up on my guitar has a DC resistance of 7.1k.

What type of humbucker would be a good match for the bridge position?

What sort of resistance DC would be about right, so that there is a good balance in the middle selection on a typical 3-way switching?

thanks

I think I'd enjoy something like a 59/custom Hybrid with that set up, but you might not. If you could give us examples of what you play, what you want to sound like, or what problems you have with your sound now, that would help us recommend better to your needs.

One thing to remember is that DC resistance doesn't linearly equate to output, as such you can have a very quiet 15k pickup or an impressively high output 12k pickup with identical output levels. An example might be your guitar/set up is dark so we might recommend something like a pearly gates or a perpetual burn to brighten it up.

There are a number of great pickups that would pair with that jazzmaster neck pickup. Let us know what you have, what you want, and what you like and we'll be able to help much better.
