Just got my March '05 Vintage Guitar Magazine in the mail today. The feature article is on the humbucker pickup........"The Humbucker Turns 50 - 50 Years of Crunchy Clean Dirt". A great article on Seth Lover, and a PAF shootout.
OH, and from the article......
"We removed the covers so the differences would be more apparent, because nickel covers reduce treble resonse and output, while adding focus."
Weren't we talking about this last week?
