humidity in sound room?

I did a search and found out the correct humidity level to keep your guitars at, but I was wondering if I needed to worry about the speakers and amps if
I had every thing in the same room.

I thought I would just set up a humidifier because I already have 9 guitars and will be getting more. I figure it would be easier to do it that way then putting little ones in all my cases.

Its a good plan Tyler. I have 22 guitar (11 Electrics and 11 Acoustics). The electrics are not as much od a concern than the Acoustics. Keep the room at 45 to 50% humidity and you should have no trouble. I actually do both. I keep a Hygrometer in every acoustic guitar case (I store all my guitars in the case). I keep the Electrics in a closet and I keep a meter in the case in plain sight. Be carful not to over Hydrate the guitars also. Too much moisture can have just the opposite effect as not enough. I have seen beautiful Martin guitars blowing apart at the seems because they were over hydrated. 45 to 50% is good. All of your other gear should be fine in this enviornment. Good Luck!

I had one of my electrics shink up so that the holes on the Pickguard where off just enough so that I could not put my top screws in. It had a very thin finish so that might have some to do wiht it.

I don't know about up there, but down here in Cajunland the relative humidity hovers in the upper 90's. Sounds like DE-humidification is what I need.
