hey there guys. i'm lookin to trade my logo'd, black, 4 cond. Duncan 59 for a no logo, 4 cond. zebra Duncan 59 or any of the dimarzio PAF's in zebra (Paf, paf pro, paf joe, paf hot, etc..)

Also i'm looking for a hot Zebra bridge pickup. some of the models i'd like are:
Duncan Distortion, Full Shred, Custom 5. and dimarzio- EVO, super distortion, D-Activator, and breed.

Again i need ZEBRA pickups, and i'm always willin to make a deal. thanks guys!

Rob

Re: Huntin' for Zebras!

I've got a standard spaced JB in zebra that I just pulled out of my Edwards LP - literally perfect condition. It's not exactly a DD, but it's only a magnet swap away ;). I just sold my 59n in matching color/condition, so I wouldn't be interested in a trade for that, though.

Let me know if interested!

*EDIT* - Guess it's reverse Zebra, not normal zebra. Logo side is black, slug bobbin is creme.

I'm going to have a pair of nameless Zebras from my Madore Explorer around Tuesday of next week. I'd sell em fairly cheap.

Haaay when did you get the Edwards? I don't remember seeing a thread.

I freaking love mine.

Re: Huntin' for Zebras!

hey. sorry man. i mean i'll take it. if you can tell me where i can find a new magnet, and how to swap the magnet. that's one of the only tech things i've never really done. link me to a tutorial maybe?

There's a good tutorial, written by one of our own guys here (Stratdeluxer97 IIRC). The repotting process at the end is unnecessary if you leave the pickup uncovered - just blast it with a hairdryer after swapping the magnet to re-set the wax.

As far as obtaining the magnet... you'll need an oversized Ceramic to go from a JB to a DD. I've got a regular (think what you'd find in an SH5 or a DiMarzio) sized ceramic and an oversized one from some old BC Rich humbucker lying around that I could throw in.
