Hybrid from two slug coils

Hi there

I´ve got some spare parts to create a hybrid, a PG slug and a Custom slug. Is it possible to replace the polepieces in the PG with screws without damaging the coil?

Why not just make a double slug hybrid? They are actually pretty cool the slugs improve the attack and tightness of the pickup.

Otherwise the slug and screw coils are different the slugs are larger and dont have the threads for the screws.

Oh and in the interest of full disclosure, normal filister screws are a no go... BUT the screws from an Invader and the larger hex screws from dimarzio will fit.

Ok, thanks. Didn´t consider hole size in the coils. I will put it together and see what happens :)
