Pretty damn rough, and I don't know if I'll finish it so I'm posting it now for anyone who's interested.

Sitting through a church service on friday made me realise how cool this tune is - I think anyone can like it Christian or not. (Please do not make this thread religious - it's tips and clips )

So, I decided to make a cover of it and go through a few different styles for fun

Guitars are as follows

First section

Rhythm - Ibanez AEM 28 Acoustic (Stock)
Lead - Fender American Strat (Stock)

Second section

Rhythm (for chorus) Fender American Strat (Stock)
Lead - Godin LGSP-90 : Duncan P90s

Third Section

Rhythm - Godin LGSP-90 : Duncan p90s
Lead - Gordon Smith Strat : A2JB

Fourth section

Rhythm - Ibanez RS 530 : TB5 Bridge
Lead - Fender American Strat (Stock)

Solo section

Rhythm - Godin LGSP-90 : Duncan P90s
Lead - Gordon Smith Strat : A2JB

It's not all mixed to perfection, but it's as far as I've got so far. I've got other stuff I want to work on atm so this will probably not get finished - hence why I'm posting it

Yeah, it's not the most versitile of pups, but what it does, it does well. I like it for an ubercompressed high gain lead (like how I used it on here)

i like the solo section. but other than that, i find this one boring =P not your playing, but the song

How's that possible? It's an omni-likeable (if that's even a word :laugh2: ) melody

great rendition of a classic song...love it from section 2 on.
great solo tones and killer drums.
