Ok, I admit it - I got bit by the fuzz bug. I got an AM Sunface last week, and I love it. So, I decided to get another fuzz - something very different, and something I've had my eye on for quite a while.
A Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom XS (extra small)! I'd seen a few of these around, but they're rather uncommon, so I contacted Tom Dalton of Fuzzhugger. He's a great guy to deal with by the way. He responded to my questions very quickly, and made the process dirt simple. I ordered mine with the optional side-mounted germanium choke toggle. Even for the custom build (smaller enclosure, custom option switch) it only cost me $149! Plus, I asked if he could make mine look like the one in the picture, and he said it's totally do-able. Now that's customer service!
He said the wait is only about 1-2 weeks. Probably on the 2 side more than the 1, but I still think that's a great deal. I can't speak for the quality of the pedals, as I just ordered it this morning, but if I ever want another fuzz, I know exactly who I'm going to. Thanks Tom!
